If you're available, I'd like to see about clearing up any discrepancies I suspect exist in our relative perceptions of the Fourth War. Let me know when you have the time to come over and if there's anything you particularly like to eat. Least I can do is offer to cook for all the trouble this is likely to be.
He'd hated spending time with the Master in this world. No, not his Master--with Ritsuka Fujimaru, the woman who had thwarted his plans twice, --no, Three times, in his past life. His three separate attempts to make a hell on Earth by manipulating people like animals and tools had been ruined by Chaldea and its annoyingly charasmatic Master so many times--
And now here he was again. A different life, a different mission--one that when he realizes the magic of his talismans are fading and memory of who himself and his dear companion Dickson were would soon return--he makes one very important trip.
Spending time with the Master had done him one favor. He'd found out where she'd lived. And he'd planted a shikigami nearby so he could use it for just such an emergency as this. No name to Teresa's killer. And now measures were going to have to be dire. What a waste.
She'd made the mistake of showing him some of her powers--such as her easy teleportation, so he'd taken upon himself to have his shikigami lay a spell on her complex that would shut off any sort of transport magic like that.
After all, as he reaches her door and hits it with the back of his hand in three very
loud
clean knocks,
He fully expects she may well know who's come calling.
It had been the strangest feeling, as she'd been glancing at some of the recent app activity on her phone. Not quite remembering, exactly, as in a way the memories had always been there, but more like... realizing. Of certain connections that had been blocked before suddenly flaring to life again.
At first, it was just confusing, as it took a moment or two for all of the suddenly recalled knowledge to fit back together. But then it did, and no sooner had it snapped back into place than Ritsuka was moving.
First, she grabbed her mystic code, as well as a dagger just in case. Not even bothering to put it on, she found Sage's ball from where the pets had last been playing with it, and hurried to attach Keke's leash, the thought of abandoning the leafeon and dog never even crossing her mind. Unfortunately, they could both pick up on their owner's clearly agitated state, making rounding them up that much harder to do. And no sooner had Ritsuka finally grabbed Keke's collar when there was a knock.
The large mutt promptly lunged at the door, breaking free from Ritsuka's grip while barking fiercely.
"Keke!! Come here!"
Forget the leash, Ritsuka was going to just grab the pets and get out of here.
[He didn't have any reason to assume Douman was anything but a Chaldean Servant; after all, how could he possibly have guessed the truth of the matter? Which was going to be something he'd end up losing sleep over after today, but for right now the only thing wrong was the overpowering sensation that something was not quite right with both the clown and Waver's estimation of the matter.]
Fujimaru, I wanted to talk to you about that new Black Order member in town.
[She'd be able to clear it up one way or the other, surely.]
So I was passing by this new restaurant themed around pirates, and they brand the skull and crossbones onto their burgers, did you know? Wasn’t sure how to tell them they were promising death and violence in my burger.
Anyway, avoid that restaurant. Hated it there, shall not be returning.
early in the morning--about 8am, maybe a little later, there'll be a sound just outside the window of where she's currently staying.
It's a very gentle tonk, tonk, tonk at first. But then it gets louder, as Ritsuka takes her time to respond to it. The sound too random and erratic to be something like rain, or a branch hitting the window...
----
Upon looking outside to where the sound is coming from, she'll find a rather large, fat Blue-grey squirrel sitting on her window sill
The Black Order attacking had been one thing. The Black Order's zealots containing another Servant Ritsuka knew among their ranks had been another entirely. Which had led to some... occasionally heated conversation with Yasuho before coming to the agreement that they could pack Ritsuka's stuff and then decide what to do once both had had a proper night's sleep.
Which led to now, where Ritsuka was putting a few last things away that had been in Yasuho's tiny house rather than the teapot, and that persistent knocking on the window finally getting her attention.
"....."
One advantage to the tiny house was that the door was pretty much right next to the lower-level window, so it took only a moment for Ritsuka to stick her head outside to see what the heck this was about now.
[ sometime between the hours of 1am and 3am, A small blue and red squirrel somehow finds itself in your home.
It's in as quickly as it's out, and behind it leaves a pile of about 70 different coloured rubber ducks, as well as a small two-pack of beautiful looking japanese sweets. They look like art, really. When eating them, they're flavoured Popcorn and Horseradish. Some flavours are just better than others. Underneath the gifts is a note in big, loopy handwriting. ]
Thanks for being a Pal, and helping out a guy in his time of need. Sampo Koski never forgets his friends, nor does he forget to say thank you! So, THANK YOU! This is just a small token of my adoring affection and unending appreciation. I'll see you around!

It's fine if you're busy, just acknowledge you saw this.

But the kaomoji was adorable so really Ritsuka was just chuckling a little to herself as she replied.
